In this field test, we set out to push the limits of LumiRing’s Wireless Wiegand technology, an advanced solution for transmitting access control signals such as Wiegand, OSDP, RS-485, relays, and inputs/outputs through dense, real-world building environments.

We tested signal strength and reliability through multiple concrete floors, metal structures, and even a sealed steel elevator. We reached all the way to the 17th floor of a modern condo building, with strong and stable connectivity throughout.
